Pitch Day Booster Scholarships from Junge Lausitz
YOUNG LAUSITZ SUPPORTS YOU WITH UP TO 2,000 EURO IN YOUR CANDIDACY FOR A LOCAL OFFICE!
You heard that right. Anyone who wants to support Lusatia and take responsibility in the local elections in Brandenburg or Saxony has the chance to receive a so-called booster scholarship from us. We support young candidates across parties with up to 2,000 euros to finance innovative election campaign and information offerings.
With the booster scholarships we want to ensure that the 2024 local election campaign is more ambitious than previous election campaigns. Lusatia is facing huge changes and therefore important decisions about the direction in which the region will develop. These directional decisions must be an issue in the election campaign! We cannot afford to only talk about people and parties in the local election campaign, instead of talking about the issues that are relevant to the region now. That's why we want to support you in making Lausitz better.
WHO WE PROMOTE:
With our booster scholarships we want to support diverse young personalities who:
- will run for a party, for a list or as a non-party candidate in the 2024 local elections in Brandenburg or Saxony.
- the goals of the Young Lausitz Perspective Plan .
- want to implement a passion project in their local government.
- Place at least one demand from the perspective plan prominently in your election campaign.
- see structural change as an opportunity.
- stand for Lusatia, e.g. through volunteer work, their profession, etc.
- have a non-partisan mindset.
- share the Young Lausitz values compass.

Your goals for the next five years?
At each event we will choose a wild card winner for the most convincing pitch, who will receive a funding commitment from us on site. Everyone else will find out after the last appointment whether and to what extent they will receive funding from us.
