Culture on the Steinberg

"Be open and write". Rainer Maria Rilke didn't want more. Isn't that a modest and at the same time so demanding wish?

He learned the "whole life as if it went through him with all of his possibilities", but also with all the contradictions that crossed him. His urge: the great expanse of the inner world, the experience, love and its inevitable, i.e. what is "more than meat and blood" to interweave in words that almost come to the edge of intolerance. 

A life's work for a high price, for himself, like for everyone who surrounded him. 

A literary-musical Rilke program, about a "radical life that wants to be completely art" and blooms in all its contradictions.
