Shaping the future - changing Lusatia!

 Introductory workshop on the application of the method box youth participation in structural change 

For teachers, professionals in extracurricular education and other people interested in working with young people!

Structural change is increasingly shaping the political debate and our region. Young people in particular should see a perspective for themselves through the change in Lusatia and find their future here. From our experience we know that young people are little informed about current changes and perspectives. In an introductory workshop, we would like to introduce you to the use of the method box so that you can integrate it into your everyday work.

Since last year we have been countering this deficit with various in-school and extra-curricular offers. The idea is to bring political education and labor market orientation together. At the same time, we provide young people with opportunities to participate and orientate ourselves towards their everyday reality. In doing so, we create a space for confrontation with their future in Lusatia.  

Based on our experience, we have put together a method box that can be used without extensive prior knowledge. This includes background knowledge on structural change and youth participation, various tips for workshop planning and methods of sustainable knowledge transfer. The aim is to provide information about the opportunities for participation associated with the structural change and the resulting (professional) opportunities.
